Just found this gem of a site:

Great for newbies like me! 

Just ran Linux (Mandrake 6.1 w/KDE 1.1) on the 'net (as normal user, not 
root or super), and tested security: all my ports are open! I found this 
out by using the following online 
resource:

Anyone who wants to test online security from *any OS, should include this 
site, IMO.
