[buug] Lost root access

Hi Skip,
    Basically you can hard reboot most *nix machines and pass parameters
to the kernel at startup to go into single user mode. In that mode, you can
do anything. 
    I seem to recall you using FreeBSD right? If so, at the kernel prompt
type "boot -s". If you're using linux, it's "init 1".
