[buug] make xconfig Error mesg

Hi, all;

While i am running "make xconfig" on RedHat 7.0, I got
some error massage:
".....
Application initialization failed:couldn't connedt to
display ":0""
Error in startup script: invalid command name "button"
      While executing
"button .ref"
      (file "scripts/kconfig.tk" line51)
make: *** [xconfig] Error 1
"
What kind of problem is it? Anybody experienced this?
