[buug] source code obfuscators

Hi,
   Anyone out there have any experience with source
code obfuscators in any language?
   There are a few on freshmeat.net that look good,
such as POBS (for perl):

   The reason I'm asking is I'd really like to let
other people recompile my C, perl, java source
code...but I don't want them to be able to see my
source code.
