Is there a simpler way to purge the cached font metrics in /var/cache/fonts than something like find /var/cache/fonts -type f -name "*.pk" -o -name "*.tfm" | xargs rm ? In particular, I find that upgrading tetex packages doesn't do this automatically. Should it? Is this a bug? -- Nothing can be explained to a stone. Or to a stoned person, either.
