I found Virtual Box OSE on my Ubuntu system! It just wasn't tagged to
show up in the Applications menu.

So I gath re. emulation, is that running a windoze program that hooks
to a hardware driver is less likely to succeed, than a program that
does not. Makes sense to me, now that I've learned a bit more.
