I actually had a foggy recollection that something like PDQ existed, but
rather than firing up the search engine I thought, "How hard can it be,
with foomatic having done the real work?"

I think I'm gonna prettify it a little, to use a config file instead of
environment variables, and perhaps outsource the horrible event loop to
a specialized python library.

Not all that interested in a GUI, sorry.  But maybe I can put it on
github and invite contributions :-)
