Does Smalltalk have built in continuations?  If yes that definitely
qualifies as an answer to my question.  Although Python does have
Twisted, which is not built in but comes as close to it as is possible
on the library level.  With Javascript being even more FP flavored
(according to its proponents anyway), I guess that a similar
framework must exist in that realm too.
