Hi,

I am new to the Linux and want to know if you can help me with this
question.

Is there anything in Linux that's equivalent to "sar" (System Activity
Report) in UNIX. I need to use the information from sar utility but
could not find anything related or similar. Would you be so kind and
tell me if it is available, where to find it, or where to look for help.
Is there any system routines that I can call (with a quick C program) to
retrieve these kind of information?
