Yes, Alex, I was typing the line from ps...which brings up a second
question:

My gpm seems to not be cutting and pasting :-<  I think that during
installation I picked "3 button mouse" when in reality I should have
selected "two button with 3 button emulation".

I can highlight text, but it doesn't reach the buffer when I click two
buttons simultaneously.  

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
